Welcome to the Crouch Valley Parishes - five rural parishes straddling the north bank of the River Crouch in south east Essex, and within Maldon & Dengie Deanery of the Diocese of Chelmsford (Church of England). Our five churches are: St. Andrew’s in the parish of Althorne, Christ Church in the parish of Latchingdon, Holy Trinity in the parish of North Fambridge, St. Stephen’s in the parish of Cold Norton, and St. Mary & St. Margaret in the parish of Stow Maries. In the following pages we will tell you more about ourselves and about the history of our parishes, and also give you a flavour of parish life today.
