9.30 a.m. Holy Communion @ Cold Norton

11.15 a.m. Parish Communion @ Althorne

Collect: Eternal Father, who at the baptism of Jesus revealed him to be your Son, anointing him with the Holy Spirit:
grant to us, who are born again by water and the Spirit, that we may be faithful to our calling as your adopted children;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

What’s on?

Mon. 14th: 11 a.m. Holy Communion (Kirk Mews)

Wed.16th: 9.30 a.m. BCP Comm.; 7.45 p.m. Bible Study.

Thu. 17th:  8.30 a.m. Breakfast prayer meeting; 2 p.m. Burial of Stephen Adams (CN) followed by Service of Thanksgiving in St Stephen’s You are welcome to walk in the procession from Greentrees Avenue to the church. Bright clothes requested, no flowers, donations to Farleigh Hospice. Reception at The  Norton.

Sun. 20th:10 a.m. Holy Communion (NF); 11.30 Morning Praise (CN); 3 p.m. Evensong (A) followed by extra PCC (A)

Lent begins on 6th March. If any of our parishes wish to collect for WaterAid, please let Revd. Sandra know by 20th February so that necessary materials, posters etc can be order in time.

Crouch Valley Courier next deadline is 10th February. The last two editions were almost cancelled because of lack of contributions so…….what can you offer?

 

General reminders:

Please do not contact Revd. Sandra on her free day (Fridays). In a genuine emergency, contact a warden who will decide what to do.

Plastic wallets (coloured): please give them back to Revd. Sandra promptly—stocks are getting low.

Please read your pewsheet regularly!

If you are unable to do your turn at reading or praying in services, please do a swap and tell the wardens.  Thank you.
